The premise behind this class is to make all spa and salon professionals more well-rounded in their outlook and actions toward others in the workplace while promoting a stronger, more caring and balanced workplace environment. Deja Vu Professional Ethics Review
This class reviews the essentials of professional ethics for massage therapists and all spa professionals. Topics include the definition of a professional, boundaries, code of ethics, scope of practice, sexual issues and comminucation techniques. Students will take a boundary assessment, write a personal code of ethics and disucss and role play various types of issues faced in the touch-oriented workplace. Longer classes will also deal with techniques for dealing with conflict. Three hours.
